Mobile Trick Or Treat

Are kids these days lazier?

The reason I say this is quite simple. When I was a kid we would go out trick or treating by WALKING from house to house, place to place..etc.

We wouldn’t even imagine of asking our parents to DRIVE us from house to house.

Friday night around 7pm or so a car stopped in front of our house and kids got out and came and rang our bell. We gave them their “treats” and they headed back to the car and made their way down the street.

I couldn’t believe it. Are kids these days that lazy? OR do parents feel safer driving their kids from house to house?

I am not sure about this one.
