Snow

It’s snowing here and it’s actually sticking to the road! Colin looked out the window and said “this is what I want it to do for Christmas!”

Toyota Demands Removal of Fan Wallpapers

WOW, Glad today was Tony’s last day in a Toyota!

Toyota Demands Removal of Fan Wallpapers: “An anonymous reader writes ‘TorrentFreak reports that Toyota’s lawyers have recently contacted computer wallpaper site Desktop Nexus in a blatant example of DMCA abuse. Toyota issued a blanket request to demand the immediate removal of all member-uploaded wallpapers featuring a Toyota, Lexus, or Scion vehicle (citing copyright violation), regardless of whether Toyota legally holds the copyright to the photos or not. When site owner Harry Maugans requested clarification on exactly which wallpapers were copyrighted by Toyota, he was told that for them to cite specifics (in order to file proper DMCA Takedown Notices), they would invoice Desktop Nexus for their labor.’

Mobile Trick Or Treat

Are kids these days lazier?

The reason I say this is quite simple. When I was a kid we would go out trick or treating by WALKING from house to house, place to place..etc.

We wouldn’t even imagine of asking our parents to DRIVE us from house to house.

Friday night around 7pm or so a car stopped in front of our house and kids got out and came and rang our bell. We gave them their “treats” and they headed back to the car and made their way down the street.

I couldn’t believe it. Are kids these days that lazy? OR do parents feel safer driving their kids from house to house?

I am not sure about this one.

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze-2008

This past weekend Carrie and I attended “The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze”. They have on display over 6,000 carved pumpkins! Out of the 6,000; 5,000 are synthetic and 1,000 are real. This was the first time going for the both of us and we really enjoyed it!

Anyway, they also have a contest! The idea is to video tape your experience at the “Blaze” and then submit a video that is no longer then 3 minutes. The prize is a brand new iPod Touch!

Carrie pretty much said to me “this is the only way your getting a new iPod” sheeesh. So I made a video!
