Luck of the Gibbs Cars

I am posting this under NASCAR for no other reason that it involves the Gibbs cars.

Carrie and I took a couple days off from work and went to Atlantic City. We aren’t big gamblers and typically spend most of our time playing penny slot machines. We arrived at Borgota on Thursday afternoon, after a quick stop at Camping World. We had lunch and hit the slot machines for a couple hours and then headed to the room (someone..me..needed a nap…LOL)

On our way back from breakfast on Friday morning Carrie said she wanted to try roulette. I used to pay roulette years ago so I was familiar with the rules. The table was a $5 minimum and nobody was playing. So we figured it was a good opportunity to play. We did the usual playing our birthday’s and Colin’s birthday. Then we started to play car numbers..of course I was doubling up on the 20 and playing the 18 and 11. And..they started coming out…we started to play more numbers..I was splitting between the 5 – 8 and 3 – 6..and those started to come out too. We are not heavy betters but we did win back the money we lost in slot machines the night before so that made us happy!

We then headed over to the Tropicana. After getting settled into our room we made our way to the Casino, Carrie wanted to play roulette again. No $5 tables here so we played the $10 table. So I started to play my NASCAR and birthday sequence again and it was working..and working…3 hours later I had around $300 in chips in front of me and the waitress kept bringing 2 beers at a time to me..LOL..so feeling pretty good with our winnings and the beer..LOL..we cashed out just as the raised the minimum to $15.

So the 20, 11, 18 treated me pretty good the last few days, hopefully that luck will carry over to today’s race!
